Why I Like This Product
A FATMAX Tape Measure is an absolute must for electricians working on ladders and trying to find center of the room for your light. Its thick tape width allows for extended ranges without the tape breaking!
I recommend BOTH a 16 Foot Tape Measure (with just inches) & Long Tape Measure (with imperial/metric). (The 16′ is used daily, and the long tape measure only when required, like needing metric, or long-distance measuring).
NEVER USE EXPENSIVE TAPE MEASURES IN THE SAND.. BUY A CHEAP TAPE MEASURE FOR THAT!
Typically an employer electrician tool list says a 25-30 Foot tape measure is required.. but it’s WAY TOO HEAVY to carry all day. This FATMAX 16 Foot Tape Measure is my absolute FAVORITE.. it’s lightweight, fits easy in a coat pocket, only has imperial so you can measure inches on both sides. Plus, the FATMAX tape width allows for extended reach, especially if working on ladders!
