I recommend both a 16 Foot Tape Measure (with just inches) & a Long Tape Measure with imperial (inches) / metric (centimeters).
Often an employer provides a tool list for electricians requiring a 25-30 foot tape measure.. but in reality, it’s heavy to carry all day! I like a small tape measure for daily use with imperial (inches) to accurately measure on either side of the tape, then using the longer tape measure (25-30 foot) with both impertial (inches) / metric (centimeters) in case code rules state centimeters.
You do not need a FATMAX for this long tape measure due to them being expensive. I highly recommend FATMAX for your daily tape measure.
