Electricians may not use needle nose pliers every day, but they’re definitely a requirement of an electrician tool list. Needle Nose Pliers help tremendously in very tight places where you need to clamp down. I suggest 8″ models which give more clamping force & gripping area. I’ve only used comfy-grip needle nose, but the glue failed and the grips slide off (this is a pro and a con, as sometimes hitting with the metal is powerful). If you go with dipped grips (non comfy), your grips probably won’t fall off. Even with the grips sliding off, I still like the Greenlee comfy-grip needle nose pliers.

Needle nose pliers are a must for electricians to reach into tight spaces to grab wires, which also helps tremendously when fishing wires.
