Never use your high-quality screwdrivers for beating with a hammer.. use a cheap flathead screwdriver instead!
As an electrician, you NEED a beater flathead screwdriver.. whether you’re hitting a lock ring on a connector, knocking out a box insert, or chipping away concrete.. Make sure to purchase a cheap beater screwdriver for these tasks, and your high-quality screwdrivers will remain sharp for a high-quality finish & feel. I would avoid a small shaft screwdriver, as it can be hard to reach in areas..
Note, there are also purpose-built heavy-duty smashing screwdrivers, but these are heavy and costly.. Just a cheap beater screwdriver with a robust handle will do you great 👍
